'Mud face' bandits rob B'ce restaurant
Two men who decided to disguise themselves by rubbing mud on their faces robbed a Chinese restaurant at Lancaster Village, Corentyne, Berbice, on Sunday night of $20,000 in cash.


According to reports out of the ancient county, about 19:10 hours on Sunday night the men armed with cutlasses barged into the restaurant owned by Zhang Saxion, 35, of Lancaster Village, Corentyne and carted off with $20,000 from the drawer.

Reports state, Saxion was open for business when he heard strange noise coming from outside upon a closer investigations he saw the men and ran out the door while the men helped themselves to the cash in the drawer.

No injuries were reported and the men made good their escape before an alert was raised.

The police are investigating.
