We are a dedicated group of PIO's [People of Indian
Origin] lobbying for
fair representation in all fora. We have information that GOPIO
[Global
Organization of People of Indian Origin] would be naming new Office
bearers
immediately after the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas meeting in New Delhi,
Jan 9-11
and it would be in our interest that the President/President Elect
should be
either from the West [North America] or the Caribbean Region. This is
ABSOLUTELY essential to end the India-centric GOPIO and all such
India-based organizations that profess to be looking after our
interests.
We know of your tremenduous
influence on the net and do sincerely
ask your support here. Please send your usual strong
thought-provoking
views on a revamped GOPIO leadership. Do help us bombard GOPIO
so that they see the error of their ways. You have the tools. You
have
wherewithal. It is urgent
as GOPIO leadership are leaving soon for their
India meeting.
